Job Description
Customer / Business Partner / Business Development Responsibilities

·     Provide input into the overall strategic direction for internal and external content and documentation, including translating highly complex technical information into effective, consumable and engaging communications.
·     Write, edit and update technical content for the ISM Canada website, intranet, and micro-sites.
·     Write, update, and distribute technical documentation, proposals, collateral or other marketing materials.
·     Ensure that a thorough review, editing and updating process is followed for all corporate technical content (digital and print) to establish a standardized ‘voice’.
·     Gathering information from various technical experts and business units to develop marketing collateral (digital and print).
Service / Technology Responsibilities
·     Gather, create and edit technical content, and translate into consumable content for ISM Canada employees, customers, and the general public.
·     Designs and adjusts assigned service(s) based on technological/market direction, customer and/or competitive requirements and industry accepted best practices.
Innovation Responsibilities
·     Implement a strategic and systematic approach for achieving the organization’s vision, mission, and goals.
·     Develop new initiatives that support the strategic direction of the organization.
Financial Responsibilities
·     Responsible for managing and delivering financial results for assigned area of responsibility.
·     Forecasts requirements related to strategic projects, prepares project budgets as required, and initiates corrective actions as required.
·     University Degree in English, Communications, or Management of Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience in marketing and / or technical content writing.
·     Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical content writing.
·     Fluent in both business and IT ‘language.’
·     Superior written and verbal communication and researching skills.
·     Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot / problem-solve.
·     Ability to fully and clearly communicate ideas and information.
·     Ability to interact with subject matter and technical experts to obtain the required technical information.
·     A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
·     Ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities, and meet deadlines as required.
·     Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner.
·     Advanced administrative and organizational skills.
·     Adaptability and flexibility to changing business requirements and circumstances.
·     Ability to conduct research and provide recommendations on a course of action.
·     A self-starter, highly motivated, "get-the-job-done" attitude.
